Software as a Service
Access to Medexis is available through a perpetual or subscription-based license.
Perpetual License:
The perpetual license gives a defined user base the right to use the Medexis software
indefinitely. The perpetual license provides users with continuous access to the eLMIS
software without the need for ongoing payments.
A perpetual license is activated following a one-time fee, dependent on the conditions
of the user group. The licence fee covers the cost of the software for an unlimited
duration and provides access to updates, support and maintenance for a period of 3
years. Customers are able to renew the support and maintenance agreement separately.
Additional costs related to the perpetual license include cloud and data warehouse
hosting, SMS or Whatsapp notifications and long-term maintenance and support.
Advantages: The perpetual license provides long-term stability
and financial advantages for clients aiming to use the software for large populations
for an extended period of time.
Subscription-Based License:
A subscription-based license issues a limited number of individual access licenses to the
Medexis software for a limited amount of time. In this model, users essentially
"subscribe" to the service, and their access is contingent upon the continuous payment
of subscription fees. Subscriptions are renewed at regular intervals, monthly or
annually, to access and use the software.
Users pay for the right to use the software during the subscription period, during which
they are eligible for automatic updates, ongoing support, and access to the latest
features during their subscription period. Cloud and data warehouse hosting are included
in the subscription-based license fee. Charges related to SMS or Whatsapp notifications are
exclusive to the subscription-based license fee.
Advantages: A subscription-based license offers lower upfront
costs and
the flexibility to scale or discontinue the service based on evolving needs. It also
ensures that users consistently have access to the most up-to-date features and support.
Customisation
Medexis is a highly configurable system, allowing administrators to customise the system to their needs. If specific functionalities or developments are required, Medexis also offers system customisation, to better respond to the needs of the client.
